The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab has released the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 notification. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 15 March 2026 (Sunday). Online applications are open from 06 February 2026 and will close on 20 February 2026.

Recruitment Overview

The PSTET is a state-level teacher eligibility examination conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training Punjab. The examination certifies candidates as eligible to teach Classes I to VIII in government and aided schools of Punjab. PSTET 2026 will be conducted for two levels, Paper I and Paper II. Exam Levels
